Emmanuel Ahamefule Strengthens British Prospect Profile At adidas Eurocamp

British prospect Emmanuel Ahamefule strengthened his international profile with a strong showing at adidas Eurocamp 2026 in Treviso, Italy.

The event, held from 5-7 June at La Ghirada Città Dello Sport, brought together leading 16-22-year-old prospects from around the world for one of basketball’s best-known pre-draft scouting environments.

According to Hoopsfix, Ahamefule was selected by adidas to play for Team 3SSB, made up of leading performers from the adidas grassroots circuit. Across three games, he averaged 13 points, five rebounds and 1.3 blocks.

The encouraging part was the way his production built through the week. Ahamefule opened with five points, two rebounds and three blocks in Game 1, followed with 14 points and five rebounds in Game 2, then finished with 20 points, eight rebounds and a block in Game 3 while shooting 7-of-10 from the field.

That gave him totals of 39 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks across the camp — a useful marker for a British player competing in a high-level international setting.

Ahamefule, a former London Elite big man now attending Riordan High School in the United States, is part of a growing group of British prospects taking important development steps outside the UK while staying connected to the wider British basketball pathway.

Eurocamp appearances matter because they put players in front of scouts, coaches and decision-makers in a concentrated environment. For British basketball followers, they also provide a window into which young players are earning attention beyond domestic competition.

Hoopsfix noted that several British players have previously appeared at adidas Eurocamp, including Dan Clark, Joel Freeland, Ovie Soko, Andrew Lawrence and Devon van Oostrum. Ahamefule’s 2026 performance does not guarantee what comes next, but it is another positive sign for a prospect already testing himself against strong international opposition.
