Great Britain Name U16 Men’s Squad for EuroBasket Division B Campaign

Great Britain have named their U16 Men’s squad for the FIBA U16 EuroBasket 2026 Division B campaign, with Liam Jefferson’s side heading to Skopje, North Macedonia, from 6–15 August.

GB have been drawn in Group C alongside Denmark, Austria, Hungary and Estonia, and will open their tournament against Denmark before completing the group stage against Austria, Hungary and Estonia.

The squad brings together players from across the British pathway, including London Stars, Manchester Magic, Newham Youngbloods, City of Birmingham Rockets, Essex Charge and Caledonia Blues, alongside Nathan Muleba of Fulgor Fidenza.

Basketball England confirmed the 12-player squad as the third of Great Britain’s four junior national teams to compete this summer, following the U18 Men’s campaign in Croatia and the U18 Women’s tournament in Romania. The U16 Women are also due to compete in Greece from 6–11 August.

Jefferson said the group had enjoyed “a really positive preparation period across the UK and the Netherlands” and that the players had embraced the responsibility of representing Great Britain.
