Bristol Flyers will play two home pre-season friendlies in September as they prepare for their 2026/27 Super League Basketball and ENBL campaigns.
The club confirmed fixtures against Reading Rockets and Surrey 89ers, giving fans an early chance to see Andreas Kapoulas’ new-look side before the regular season begins.
- Friday 11 September: Bristol Flyers vs Reading Rockets, 7.30pm tip-off
- Sunday 13 September: Bristol Flyers vs Surrey 89ers, 3pm tip-off
Bristol said the games have been added to the schedule page on the club website, with ticketing information for both pre-season fixtures to be announced soon.
The friendlies come before Flyers’ opening-night meeting with London Lions, giving the club two controlled home tests as they build rhythm for domestic and European competition.
Why it matters
Pre-season dates are useful for Flyers supporters planning ahead, but they also offer an early look at how the roster is coming together before a busy SLB and ENBL schedule.
The Surrey game should carry added interest given the 89ers’ place in the SLB picture, while Reading provide a strong domestic test as Bristol step up preparations.
