Bristol Flyers have completed their 2026/27 roster with the signing of American guard Davion Bailey.
The 6ft 4in guard joins the Flyers after a productive first professional spell in Colombia, where he played this summer for Paisas de Medellín in the Liga Profesional de Baloncesto.
Bailey averaged 20.4 points and 5.1 rebounds per game in Colombia, giving Bristol another scoring option as they prepare for the new Super League Basketball season and European North Basketball League campaign.
Before turning professional, Bailey played NCAA Division One basketball at the University of the Incarnate Word in Texas. Bristol’s roster profile notes that he developed into one of the leading scorers in the Southland Conference, averaging 18.6 points per game during his senior season in 2025/26.
The move finalises head coach Andreas Kapoulas’ squad for the coming campaign, adding another backcourt piece to a Flyers group that has been steadily built through the summer.
With the roster now complete, attention turns to how quickly Bristol’s new and returning players can come together ahead of a busy domestic and European schedule.
