Caledonia Gladiators have signed point guard Terry Roberts ahead of the 2026/27 Super League Basketball season.
Roberts arrives in Scotland with NBA G League experience, having spent multiple seasons with the Long Island Nets, the Brooklyn Nets’ development affiliate.
The Gladiators described the move as a statement addition to their roster, pointing to Roberts’ pace, playmaking and competitiveness as key qualities for Jonny Bunyan’s side.
Roberts has also played for the Winnipeg Sea Bears and, most recently, Ostioneros de Guaymas from April this year.
During his time with Long Island, Caledonia said Roberts averaged 4.3 assists per game while contributing at both ends of the floor. His college career included spells at Florida SouthWestern, Bradley and the University of Georgia.
At Bradley, Roberts earned First-team All-MVC and MVC Newcomer of the Year honours in 2022, adding further pedigree to his arrival in East Kilbride.
Caledonia’s first league game of the season is scheduled for Sunday 20 September at Playsport, East Kilbride, where the Gladiators host new franchise Liverpool Basketball at 4pm.
For the Gladiators, the signing gives the backcourt a high-level organiser and another indication of the club’s ambition as the 2026/27 roster takes shape.
