Cheshire Phoenix will continue preparations for the 2026-27 Super League Basketball season with a pre-season tour of Spain.
The club’s trip will give Phoenix a challenging run of games against Spanish opposition as they build towards the new domestic campaign.
Super League Basketball confirmed the tour on 12 August, noting that Cheshire will test themselves against clubs from one of Europe’s strongest basketball environments.
Pre-season tours are becoming an increasingly useful part of SLB preparation, giving British clubs a chance to sharpen rotations, test new signings and measure themselves against different styles before competitive fixtures begin.
For Phoenix, the Spanish schedule should provide valuable minutes for the roster and a useful benchmark before attention turns back to league, cup and trophy action at home.
