Tickets are now on sale for Great Britain Men’s FIBA EuroBasket 2029 Pre-Qualifying game against Switzerland at Newcastle’s Vertu Arena on Sunday 29 November.[1][2]

The game tips off at 3pm and is GB’s final home fixture in the current stage of the campaign. FIBA’s official schedule confirms the date and local start time.[1][2]

GB carry a strong advantage into the rematch

Marc Steutel’s side opened Group E by beating Switzerland 110–75 in Fribourg in August before adding a home victory over Slovakia. Those two results put Britain in a strong early position as qualification continues.[1][3]

Josh Uduje led GB with 24 points in the reverse fixture, while Tosan Evbuomwan scored 21 points on his senior debut. Boston Celtics centre Amari Williams added eight points and seven rebounds in his first senior international appearance.[3]

Britain won all four quarters in Switzerland and led 79–51 after the third. The 35-point margin offers encouragement, but the Newcastle meeting remains important because only the winner of each pre-qualifying group advances directly into the full EuroBasket qualifying competition.[3]
