Liman claimed the inaugural FIBA 3×3 Uenohara Challenger 2026 title, beating Toulouse 19-13 in the final in Japan.

The Serbian 3×3 powerhouse were led by MVP Dorde Simeunovic, with the victory continuing their strong run on the Challenger circuit. FIBA reported that Liman secured their second straight Challenger stop win and booked a place at the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Debrecen 2026.

Toulouse and Shanghai also came away with Debrecen tickets, making the Uenohara event an important stop on the road to one of the major World Tour dates.

According to FIBA, Liman controlled the main draw from the opening stages and carried that form through to the final. The 19-13 win over Toulouse underlined their status as one of the most consistent teams in the 3×3 game.

For basketball fans in the UK, the result is another useful marker of where the international 3×3 scene is heading. The format continues to grow through Challenger stops, World Tour events and Olympic-cycle attention, giving clubs, players and national programmes more reasons to take the short-form game seriously.

With Debrecen now on the calendar for Liman, Toulouse and Shanghai, the Uenohara Challenger has already shaped the next stage of the 2026 FIBA 3×3 season.
