London Lions fall by one at Ulm in nail-biting EuroCup encounter

The London Lions came agonisingly close to an upset, but were edged out 86–87 by Ratiopharm Ulm in Round 6 of the 2025‑26 EuroCup at the Ratiopharm Arena on Wednesday.

Ulm pulled ahead late after London had clawed back into contention. With under two minutes remaining, the Lions trailed 73–80, but saw guard Kameron McGusty hit back-to-back three-point plays to reduce the deficit to one. Ulm then responded, with Nelson Weidemann drilling a key three but eventual free-throws from Ulm locked the narrow victory.
