Manchester Basketball will open their 2026/27 Super League Basketball home schedule against Surrey 89ers on Sunday 27 September.
The club confirmed the fixture as part of the league schedule release, with tip-off set for 3pm at the National Basketball Performance Centre.
Manchester’s first away game is scheduled for Friday 2 October at Bristol Flyers, before a trip to new SLB franchise Liverpool Basketball on Sunday 4 October.
The club also highlighted a busy festive period. Manchester are due to host Newcastle Eagles on 20 December, travel to Cheshire on 27 December, and close 2026 with a New Year’s Eve game against Sheffield Sharks.
Game-by-game ticket information is still to follow, with fans directed to the club’s schedule page for the full fixture list.
Why it matters
Manchester’s first home date gives supporters a clear marker for the start of the new SLB season, while early trips to Bristol and Liverpool add immediate interest to the opening weeks.
The Liverpool fixture is especially notable as the new franchise joins the top-flight picture, adding another northern storyline to the 2026/27 campaign.
